About 5 years ago, I gave birth to my third child through a C-section. The operation did not go well, and my baby did not survive. The pregnancy had caused my abdominal muscles to separate. It was a 2-finger-wide separation, and the condition is called diastasis recti. There are exercises you can do to fix it, but due to the wound from the surgery not healing, I couldn’t do the exercises.

I also have 2 injured vertebrae due to injuries I sustained while playing sports as a child. This caused me to have chronic back pain, and it would be difficult for me to stand for long periods, bend over, and lift heavy things. From time to time, it would hurt so much that I wouldn’t be able to stand up straight at all, and I would have to lie in bed often for up to a week.

About 7 months ago, I was busy ironing some laundry while watching a sermon by Pastor Joseph Prince on YouTube. At the end of the sermon, Pastor Prince had a word of knowledge and said, “There is someone . . . the Lord is healing your abdomen.”

As soon as he said that, I felt a sensation in my stomach. I can only describe it as feeling like my stomach muscles were zipped closed, from the bottom up. It didn’t hurt, and since then, I no longer felt the separation, and my back also felt better.

Over the next few days, then weeks, and now months, the pain in my back receded and is now altogether gone. I can lift heavy things, walk straight, and bend over without any problems. I have not had to lie in bed because of back pain since that day.
