Free from Asthma After More Than 20 Years
I suffered from asthma since I was 4 years old. For over 20 years, I depended on my inhaler 3 times a day and lived in constant fear of breathlessness. I prayed many times for healing, but the symptoms would return. Deep inside, I believed I was not praying enough, believing enough, or righteous enough.
I tried to follow the law strictly, thinking that if I lived perfectly, I would receive my breakthrough. Instead of peace, I experienced pressure and condemnation. At the same time, I was burdened with debt and repeatedly faced rejection at job interviews. I used to be a top student in my academic batch, but during that season, I felt like a complete failure. My confidence was shattered, and my life felt like it was falling apart.
Through my brother, I was introduced to the message of God’s grace. As I listened to and read the ministry’s teachings, I discovered that righteousness is a gift and that Jesus had already finished the work on the cross. I realized that God loved me perfectly, not based on my performance. I stopped striving and started resting in Jesus’ finished work. A deep and lasting peace filled my heart.
Not long ago, I went for a health checkup, and my asthma was completely gone. After living with it since childhood, I no longer need an inhaler. I now run daily without wheezing or breathlessness. Jesus has restored my health. By His grace, my debts are almost cleared, and I am preparing confidently for my dream job without fear. The same Lord who healed me is faithful to establish every area of my life.
Pastor Prince, thank you for faithfully preaching the gospel of grace and pointing us to Jesus.
