Memory Restored During JPM Worship Event in Washington, D.C.

I am almost 59 years old and in the last few years, I have had escalating issues with forgetfulness. I was just overwhelmed to the point I couldn’t think, losing thoughts on what’s next, and losing words as I speak or not being able to finish sentences.

I found myself asking people for the words as I stuttered because I could not bring them to mind. I kept asking my husband questions repeatedly because I was not sure if I had already told him certain things or if I was not remembering things he had already told me. This was happening frequently enough for me to be concerned and anxious about my brain, wondering if I was having the early stages of Alzheimer’s.

When I was at the Washington, D.C. tour event, Pastor Prince mentioned during the Communion time that someone was worried about losing his or her memory and should raise his or her hand for healing. I raised mine and instantly it was like a switch went on in my brain. I actually felt a click and the mental fog and heaviness lifted. My mind was cleared. Praise Jesus!

As the days passed, my mind stayed clear. I partook of the Communion as often as I felt led. My mind continues to be clear, and I no longer grope to remember schedules or words when I am speaking. I’ve stopped stuttering trying to find thoughts and words and am no more continually asking my husband questions over and over again or walking around trying to remember what I was doing or writing.

It’s been 3 weeks and my brain is renewed. I can even do simple math in my head, which I could not before. Praise Jesus for His healing work for my family and me! As I partake of the Communion, I picture Jesus giving the bread and cup to me with His nail-pierced hands, and I see His stripes taking away any pain or sickness my family and I have.

Thank You, Abba, for loving me to wholeness. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for supplying me with the wisdom God gives you. I listen to you every day and sometimes throughout the day just to be constantly filled with His grace, love, and hope! Your preaching from Abba has turned my world right-side up in so many ways. Praise Jesus! I pray for you, your family, and your church all the time!
