No More Rheumatoid Arthritis After Claiming the Word
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis about 8 years ago. Two years ago, I had to get my wedding ring cut off because my joints were so swollen. It was sad, because not only were my hands physically painful, but my wedding ring also had to be reconstructed with an arthritic shank so I could get it on and off using a tool.
After watching many sermons and reading many of Joseph Prince’s books, my walk with the Lord has changed in such a phenomenal way! I was watching one of his sermons about transformation, and at the end, he said someone was being healed of rheumatoid arthritis. I immediately claimed it over my body.
Sometime later, I noticed that my wedding ring was sliding off my finger without using the tool for the arthritic shank! I now have to use a silicone ring to keep my wedding ring on. The swelling on my left finger joint has significantly gone down. Praise the Lord!
I also had to get an MRI on my right knee in October because of the swelling and horrible pain I’d had for 14 months. My doctor said that I had torn my meniscus and possibly my anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). He also said I might need surgery and even a knee replacement because of the rheumatoid arthritis.
I was sent to a surgeon, and when he looked at my MRI, he told me that I had a tear in my meniscus that had healed perfectly. He saw swelling in my ligaments, tendons, ACL, and a Baker’s cyst that had formed. He gave me a steroid shot to reduce the swelling, saying the cyst would go away once the swelling was gone. But he didn’t see any signs of arthritis at all anywhere in my knee, even though I had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. So he refused to do surgery on a knee that was strong and in good condition. Praise the Lord!
I had just finished reading Healing Promises a few days before my appointment with the surgeon, and I remembered one of the phrases Joseph Prince wrote: “Your healing is just around the corner!” I have also been meditating on 2 Chronicles 20:15—“the battle is not yours, it is God’s.”
I continue to hold onto faith in Jesus and His love for me, trusting that I will receive the healing I need for my entire body. Praise the Lord! Thank you, Pastor Prince, for ministering God’s grace and love!
