Protected in Car Accident, Completely No Damage to Car

After reading Joseph Prince’s book The Prayer of Protection, I have been praying Psalm 91 every day.

One day, as I was driving to work, I stopped at a roundabout when a car rammed hard into me from the rear. After driving around the corner to a safe place, I got out of my car to assess the damage, as did the driver who hit me.

I was surprised to see that there was no damage to either car! The other driver could not understand what had happened. She said, “I don’t believe there is no damage. I just hit you!” I told her I could believe it as I had been praying for protection that very morning.

The other driver said she did not believe in God as her younger sister had died from cancer. I had the opportunity to tell her that sickness and cancer are not from God, and because God loves them, it wasn’t His will for her sister to die from cancer. Hearing this, she hugged me with tears in her eyes.

Thank You, Jesus, for the opportunity to minister to this woman and for protecting us! And thank you, Pastor Prince, for exalting Jesus through the gospel of grace that you preach. My heart has been opened to see more of my wonderful Savior and loving Father who cares deeply for me.
