Recently, I moved from Florida to Texas to live near my brother, who is a pastor. It wasn’t an easy choice to make because it meant living apart from my family. However, I felt it was the right thing to do as I needed some guidance in my Christian walk.

After moving, I had the opportunity to feed on the Word constantly with my brother. We would partake of the Holy Communion and attend Grace Revolution Church (GRC) in Dallas together.

My experience in GRC was really good. During my second visit, I asked that my daughter—a single mom—and her children be prayed for. I couldn’t help but cry as I felt the power and presence of God embracing me.

Today, I’m glad to say that my daughter has been at her happiest. She had suffered physical abuse in front of her children before, but now has been restored with a partner who loves her and her children, treats her well, and is making plans to marry her. I know God has made this possible.
