Over 2 years ago, my daughter contracted a viral infection that produced eruptive lesions on her face. She received the necessary treatment, and it took 5 months for her to recover, only for the condition to return several months ago. Once again, she visited the doctor for treatment.

This time, we decided to seriously get into the Word of God and pray for healing. Both of us listened to messages by Pastor Joseph Prince, and we decided to stand on God’s Word for healing and deliverance.

The specialist doctor was not certain of the diagnosis and suspected it might be herpes. However, blood tests showed no signs of infection. He repeated the tests, but the results were negative again.

My daughter and I stood firmly on the Word, continuing to declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed. We started partaking of the Holy Communion daily after receiving a personal revelation of our Daddy God’s heart of love for us. Both of us knew that we are healed in Christ and that we are children of our Daddy God. We are accepted in the Beloved Son.

Pastor Joseph Prince’s book Healing Scriptures found a permanent place on our coffee table. Even at night, when I couldn’t sleep, I would listen to the audio version of Healing Scriptures.

Sometime later, the doctor stopped all medication. My daughter was a bit scared, and so was I, but we sat down and prayed together, knowing fully well that Jesus Christ was with us in this battle. We also prayed daily using the Scriptures, declaring that this affliction would not recur and that the Lord would restore health to my daughter.

We had spent a lot of money on treatment, not to mention the mental and emotional pain my daughter experienced as the lesions on her face kept reappearing over the previous months. We were so tired of this disease.

Today, my daughter's face is completely clear, and she is no longer taking any medication. We give all glory to Jesus for His healing and restoration.

During all this time, we also made healthy lifestyle choices. My daughter was overweight, and I was severely overweight at 124 kg. Today, we both live healthy lives in Christ. My daughter is now 58 kg, down from 95 kg, and I am 93 kg, down from 124 kg. My journey to health still continues.
