Foot Pain Completely Gone After Church Prayer
My daughter injured and sprained her right foot some time ago while playing in the front yard with her friends. She was in pain and very worried that she may have fractured her foot. This happened several days before the start of school, and she was very concerned about beginning the school year with an injured foot.
I tried my best to encourage her not to stay in fear but to have faith that her foot was not fractured and that God would heal her. We prayed and laid hands on her foot, declaring no broken bones and a quick, complete recovery.
As the days went by, the swelling diminished. She made good progress in her recovery and was able to walk without limping or dragging her foot. She was happy to start school without anyone noticing and was relieved that her foot was not fractured.
However, as she had to walk around more at school and be on her feet most of the day, she would come home with an achy foot, and the ache would last for a few hours. We also noticed that when she walked around more or had to stand for longer periods, her foot would ache in the same way. I reassured her that her foot likely needed more time to heal and encouraged her to be patient with the process.
We went to GRC NRH Campus church on a Sunday. During the healing prayer for the congregation, my daughter said to me, “Mom, I prayed that my foot would stop hurting.” After the service, we also went to the prayer team so she could receive prayer for her foot. The prayer team prayed that her foot would stop hurting from that day forward and even asked her to walk around as an activation of faith.
Later that evening, my daughter mentioned that she noticed she had no aches in her foot. She said she believed she was completely healed after receiving prayer at church. I agreed with her.
I am happy to report that she has not had any pain, aches, or discomfort in her foot since that Sunday. She can stand, run, walk around, and be on her feet for long periods without any pain. She and our whole family are praising God for His faithfulness and healing. Glory to God!
