No More Calcification Cluster in Breast
During a regular health checkup, my doctor suggested that because of a family history of breast cancer, I undergo a mammogram despite being only 33. I went for several mammogram screenings and on the last one, the radiologist detected a very tiny calcification cluster in my right breast, which concerned her. She suggested I go for a biopsy.
On the day of the biopsy, the doctor was unable to accurately locate the cluster, and I was given 2 options: to consult a breast surgeon or to monitor and undergo another mammogram in 6 months. I tried scheduling an appointment with the breast surgeon but was unsuccessful.
During this time, I partook of the holy Communion daily and trusted in Jesus’ finished work. I eventually forgot about the issue and went back to my daily life.
Then, my state went into lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was such a blessing to watch New Creation Church’s online service every Sunday as Pastor Prince continually reminded me of Jesus’ finished work.
In the middle of the year, I scheduled a mammogram as part of my annual health screening. In my heart, I was fearful because of my previous mammogram results. However, I partook of the holy Communion twice daily and kept reminding myself of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for me.
Two days before the appointment, I was listening to a midweek sermon on Ruth and was encouraged by Ruth 3:18, which says, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.” I was truly comforted by the verse.
On the day of the mammogram, I was informed that the doctors didn’t detect anything they were worried about and that I shouldn’t be worried either. All glory to King Jesus!
Thank you, Pastor Prince, for relentlessly preaching the true gospel and Jesus’ finished work.
